His companies are run for growth. The team behind Springfield Properties PLC have successfully doubled the company in size every five years. In 2011 Sandy led the purchase of Redrow’s Scottish business enabling the company’s expansion into Central Scotland. In 2017 he led the company into the London Stock Exchange AIM market to fund the next stage of growth for Springfield. Since then Springfield have acquired Glasgow based Dawn Homes, Edinburgh based Walker Group, Inverness based Tulloch Homes and Mactaggart & Mickel who operate in the Glasgow and Edinburgh areas. Sandy’s philanthropic activities support projects which make a sustainable, positive difference to communities or individuals, particularly the young, deprived or disadvantaged. Work includes support homelessness, public service and education charities and significant community infrastructure projects such as Moray Sports Centre. |
